Waterfront Gateway Disposition Development

Vancouver City Council approves contracts, infrastructure acceptance, housing transfer, and ordinance revisions; holds workshops on comprehensive plan and homelessness

At the January 26, 2026 Vancouver City Council meeting (hybrid), council held workshops on the Comprehensive Plan Update and a Homelessness 2025 Year in Review, then approved routine minutes and proclamations, accepted the West Fourth Plain (BNSF Crossing) water transmission main, authorized multiple contract amendments (including Selectron Technologies, Pacific Talent Inc., and Stryker Sales), approved assignment of an Affordable Housing Fund agreement for the 31st Street Tiny Homes project to Second Step Housing, adopted Resolution M-4368 amending the Waterfront Gateway disposition and development agreement, approved Ordinance M-4528 updating indigent/public defense standards, authorized regional support for signing the final supplemental EIS on the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program, and approved claim vouchers totaling $18,972,824.80.
