Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission — Meeting Minutes (Jan 21, 2026)
Commission met Jan 21, 2026 (4:31–5:51 p.m.) in the Aspen Room and online. Minutes from Nov 19, 2025 were approved. Workshops covered the 2026 PRAC workplan and priorities (Comprehensive Plan review, biennial budget engagement, park capital projects including Bagley Park and Vancouver Innovation Center Park master planning, playground replacements, and arts/culture support), updates to Firstenburg and Marshall Community Center memberships (conversion to All-Access, family pass adjustments, maintained drop-in fees at 2025 rates, and enhanced Silver pass tracking), and a Clark County sustainable parks funding team update. Staff reported a Feb 2 City Council workshop on the draft Comprehensive Plan parks chapter and upcoming State of the City on March 9. Commissioners discussed liaison representation to Urban Forestry and Culture, Arts & Heritage commissions. No public comment was presented. Meeting adjourned at 5:51 p.m.
