What this means
The board agreed to keep several temporary and probationary employees on city payroll longer, which maintains staffing for water distribution, library building services, and public works operations. One employee was officially reinstated to a Yard Attendant position, meaning they return to that job. Extending a probationary period means the employee stays in their trial/evaluation phase longer before full regular status is confirmed.
