- GENERAL HEARING
- Communication from the Department of Administration to extend the temporary appointment for Mary Reed, Systems Analyst-Sr., for 60-days, from November 9, 2025 through January 31, 2026. This is the first extension request.
- Communication from the Milwaukee Water Works to extend the temporary appointment for Roberto Velez, Water Repair Worker 2 (Auxiliary), for 90-days, from November 9, 2025 through February 14, 2026. This is the first extension request.
- PUBLIC HEARING
- Communication from the Department of Public Works, Infrastructure Services Division, regarding the Seasonal Layoff Plan for two (2) Bridge Operators.
- Communication regarding the discharge appeal of Demonta Jordan, former Equipment Operator 1, in the Department of Public Works, Operations Services-Sanitation Section.
- ADJOURNMENT
- The Board may convene in closed session pursuant to Section 19.85 (1)(a) Wis. Stats., to deliberate concerning a case which was the subject of a quasi-judicial hearing before the Board of City Service Commissioners. The Board may then reconvene in open session concerning any such item following the closed session pursuant to Section 19.85 (2) Wis. Stats.
- In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting.
