C) Kelly St Commons Dr Restriping Quotes
As a matter of procedure, City Council requires committee review of significant quotes for road maintenance. The long lines on Kelly St and Commons Dr are worn & faded and are in need of refreshing. Per the FDOT MAINTENANCE RATING PROGRAM HANDBOOK (MRP) Striping must meet the following standard: 90% of the length and width of each line is reflective and functions as intended. Striping does not meet MRP standards when any of the following exist: 1) If more that 10% of the length of any line is less than 5.4 inches wide during daylight inspection. 2) If more than 10 % of the length and width of any line is not visible for a distance of 160 feet at night. 3) If more than 10% of the length of any line is missing. 4) If more than 10% of the length of any line is covered by soil, grass, debris, staining, or skid marks. 1. City projects map update 11 is complete 13 is complete 15 is complete 2. Rapid Flashing Beacons - Benning/Maltezos & Azelea/Melvin Approved by CC and in PO process. 3. Rapid Flashing Beacons - Beach Near Sandpiper Cir & 101 Matthew to move forward for CC approval on April 7th. 4. A work order has been created to upgrade the crosswalk to FDOT midblock standards at Beach near Sandpiper Cir. 5. Engineering is reviewing the school zone relocation at Beach near Sandpiper Cir as a comprehensive intersection area upgrade. See attachment. 6.
