Transportation Commission minutes — April 1, 2026: Penn Avenue bikeways/parking option removed
The Richfield Transportation Commission met April 1, 2026 (Bartholomew Conference Room). Commissioners reviewed Hennepin County updates on the Penn Avenue reconstruction, focusing on bikeway types and parking in the Penn Central area. The Commission voted to remove Option 4 (a single shared-use path) from consideration. Staff provided project updates (Nicollet Avenue, I‑494, Highway 77, Sheridan Hills Safe Routes to School, Metro Transit Route 14 stop changes, 2026 sidewalk projects, and 69th Street).
