Council approves contracts, updated Climate Action Plan, and confirms HR director appointment
Richfield City Council met April 14, 2026; Mayor Mary Supple and all five council members were present. The Council approved the agenda and prior minutes, heard two public commenters, issued proclamations for Arab American Heritage Month, Earth Day, and Arbor Day, and presented food safety awards. The Council approved the consent calendar including disbursements totaling $4,489,623.91, stormwater and sewer contracts, a mill-and-overlay contract, a parking prohibition on Nicollet Avenue timed with construction, and the updated Climate Action Plan. Council confirmed the appointment of Kate Croteau as Human Resources Director effective May 18, 2026. Meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
