City Council approves annexation, rezoning, school resource officer agreement, and multiple utility contracts

At the June 17, 2025 Port Orange City Council regular meeting the Council approved the Consent Agenda including multiple water-related contracts and change orders; approved a School Resource Officer agreement with the Volusia County School Board (4-1); adopted Ordinance No. 2025-14 annexing approximately 56.5 acres (Vintage Acres) and Ordinance No. 2025-16 rezoning 422 Jefferson Avenue; and received an update on the utility billing software migration (old system shut down June 23, new system expected July 7).
