City Council approves executive pay amendments, pay schedule updates, pier project completion, and police trainee overfills
At the March 2, 2026 Pittsburg City Council meeting, members adopted changes to the 2025–2028 Senior Executive Team Salary & Benefits Schedule, amended the master pay schedule to add and adjust classifications including Chief of Police, accepted completion of Riverview Park fishing pier repairs with additional funding, authorized insurance coverages, approved Plaza Marina assignment/termination actions, and authorized overfilling up to three Police Officer positions with trainees for up to nine months.
