Mayor and Council approve FFY 2026 CDBG plan, send 2027–2031 financial/CIP plan to public hearing, and pass consent agenda

At the April 6, 2026 Mayor and Council meeting, the Governing Body approved Resolution No. 5094 adopting the Federal Fiscal Year 2026 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan for submission to HUD, approved appointments to advisory councils, proclaimed SevenDays of Kindness and Fair Housing Month, advanced the 2027–2031 Five-Year Financial Plan/CIP/MIP for public hearing and scheduled adoption consideration, approved multiple planning and development items (including rezoning for a mixed-use development at 7500 College Boulevard), and approved the Consent Agenda including sewer district enlargement and several street improvement contracts. The Council also declared Prairiefire’s Summer Soccer Celebration events as City-sponsored public events and directed updates to Playbook OP related to parks.
