Council advances charter reform and planning updates

The Council voted to place a charter reform measure on the November ballot, advanced Planning Code amendments (including ADU updates) for final passage, adopted a large community violence intervention grant program, approved multiple contracts and ordinances, and renewed several local emergency declarations. Two GHAD budget items were continued to the July 7, 2026 meeting.
