Board of Parks approves multiple event permits and fee waivers; several requests declined
The Lowell Board of Parks met April 29, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Mayor’s Reception Room (meeting called at 5:59 PM). Present: John Linnehan (Chair), Kah Ndi, Melissa Morales, and Parks Superintendent Jeff Lesniak; Tom Caunter and Keith Rudy were absent. The board acted on event/field permit requests, approving numerous Lowell Public School and community events (many with waived fees), granting select private permits with adjusted fees, waiving an outstanding cancelled-permit balance, and declining several requests due to no-shows or facility construction.
