Retirement Board recommends $750,000 FY2027 contribution; approves retirement benefit and USI invoice payment
At the January 20, 2026 Retirement Board meeting (Council Chambers - hybrid), Vice‑Chair Sharon Wadecki called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m. Chair John Rodolico participated via Zoom; William Thorne was excused. The Board approved prior minutes, discussed enforcement of the one free benefit‑calculation policy for members, recommended a $750,000 retirement contribution to the Town Council for FY2026/27 (above the actuary’s $697,794 minimum recommendation), approved a monthly retirement benefit for Jennifer Stackpole ($452.44 effective Feb 1, 2026) payable as a 10‑year certain and life annuity, and approved payment of a $400 USI invoice for Ms. Stackpole’s benefit calculation. The meeting adjourned at 10:13 a.m.
