Rules Committee meeting summary
The Jacksonville Rules Committee convened May 18, 2026. The committee approved substitutes and amendments for multiple items, including authorization to negotiate acquisition of 17 parcels for the Emerald Trail project, amendments to a $2,000,000 funding agreement with Edward Waters University to build NCAA-compliant track improvements with community-use requirements, donation of a surplus JSO vehicle to the Brumos Collection with a restricted-use period, and an appropriation of $5,200,000 to the Kids Hope Alliance for youth programs.
