Fort Worth City Council meeting summary

The Council met in regular session and approved the Consent Agenda unanimously, authorizing multiple appropriations, contracts, and capital projects including major water-system actions and a large customer information system contract. Council adopted tax abatement zones and agreements for manufacturing projects, approved annexation and multiple zoning changes (including a text amendment to allow small lot housing), authorized use of eminent domain for the Bomber Spur Trail, and accepted a $4 million HUD transit grant. The meeting also approved public safety donations and labor agreement amendments related to paramedic promotions.
