City Council approves FY2026 FRS amendment, Tyler contract extension, annexation timeline and other actions; adopts opposition letter to Eastern Gulf drilling

At the December 1, 2025 regular meeting, Destin City Council approved a six-month extension of the Tyler Technologies SaaS contract, passed a FY2026 budget amendment to fund the Florida Retirement System, adopted an annexation outreach timeline, authorized a letter opposing oil drilling in the eastern Gulf of Mexico, accepted a $1M surtax contribution via an interlocal amendment for Four-Prong Lake, and approved development and land‑use actions including conditions for The Drury Plaza Hotel.
