Harbor CRA Advisory Committee approves Harbor Trash Education & Awareness Sign work plan; reviews Harborwalk Phase 2, bridge PD&E, Clement Taylor Park, and shared parking measures
Meeting of the Harbor Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Committee convened February 11, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the Destin City Hall Annex Chambers (4100 Indian Bayou Trail). Attendance: Chair John Stephens and committee members Casey Jones, Guy Tadlock, Lance Johnson, and James Green present; Marium Paulino absent. Staff present included Kim Montgomery (Deputy City Clerk), Daniel Butler (Principal Planner), and City Attorney Kim Kopp. The committee amended the agenda, approved January 14 minutes, received development and project updates (Harborwalk Village Phase 2, Stahlman Ave. PD&E/bridge status, Clement Taylor Park), endorsed use of an internal CRA work‑plan flow, and voted 5-0 to recommend the Harbor Trash Education & Awareness Sign work plan. Committee discussed shared parking agreement updates and directed staff to research funding sources and applicability (including half‑penny sales tax and TDC). Next meeting: March 11, 2026.
