Council approves consent agenda; authorizes land exchange, museum donation, fiber agreement, and sidewalk repairs
At the March 24, 2026 Derby City Council meeting the Council approved the Consent Agenda (including an assessment ordinance for delinquent sanitary sewer and stormwater fees, an Independence Day parade permit, and a sidewalk shaving and repair contract with Precision Concrete Cutting for $69,882.36). Council authorized the City Manager to finalize a real estate exchange with Kevin and Cynthia Payne to support expansion of Warren Riverview Park; provided a recommendation to donate $15,000 to the Derby Historical Society and Museum; received and filed updates on the Neighborhood Maintenance Grant and Property Tax Relief Program; and authorized a fiber exchange agreement with IdeaTek Telcom, LLC for $112,000. All listed motions carried.
