Planning Commission (Sept. 2, 2025) recommends R‑3 zoning for 10225 Chambers Road and adoption of new Land Development Code; approves LDC amendments on vinyl siding and preliminary plat procedures

The Commerce City Planning Commission met on September 2, 2025 (called to order at 6:03 PM; adjourned 7:45 PM). Five commissioners were present (one absent). The commission approved minutes from July 1, 2025; recommended City Council approve a zone change (Z25-0002) to R-3 for 10225 Chambers Road; recommended adoption of the new Land Development Code; recommended an amendment prohibiting vinyl siding in new construction; and recommended adding Preliminary Plat procedures to the current Land Development Code. Staff noted the Transportation Master Plan will be presented to the Commission in October.
