Council denies auto-repair CUP amendment; adopts ADU, vegetation, and land-sale ordinances; authorizes HR contract and pavement markings bid
At its March 16, 2026 meeting, the Blaine City Council denied a Conditional Use Permit amendment for an auto repair expansion, adopted zoning changes removing detached accessory dwelling units, amended the shade tree/vegetation enforcement code, approved the sale of city land to MnDOT for the Highway 65 project, accepted a bid for 2026 pavement markings, and authorized a three-year NEOGOV Core HR contract. The consent agenda, including adoption of the 2025 Anoka County Multi-Jurisdiction Hazard Mitigation Plan and routine bills/licenses, was approved.
